Arizona Wolf Trap Classroom Residencies

Collaborating with early-childhood educators in the classroom, performing artists utilize music, movement and creative drama as teaching strategies to help children master a variety of skills such as language development, concentration, self-discipline, memory, verbalization and positive self-image. Professional Wolf Trap-approved teaching artists are placed in classrooms for seven weeks (14 sessions).

Cultural Connections Through the Arts Classroom Residencies

Cultural Connections Through the Arts is a classroom-based artist residency program offering arts-integrated learning experiences to support core class curriculum and master classes to elevate young artists to the next level. Classroom residencies, lectures and master classes are led by professional teaching artists.

Art Start Outreach to Classrooms
Free; fall and spring registration required

SMoCA docents help 4 and 5-year olds explore art concepts in their classrooms with engaging art discovery and activities. This program is designed to increase fine motor skills, vocabulary and confidence, and to introduce children to creating with a variety of art media.
